When I saw this at the festival I mostly sang in my head, "doo-doo doo, just taking the alpacas for a stroll down High St. Need anything at the Dollar Store, Hermione?" Rowan vest has gone from circulars to straight knitting which is to say that I'm at the armpit and on the home stretch. A few more movie days and I'll be done.

Are these alpacas local? I'm always curious about the natural environment and what it does to the wool of sheep, goats, camels, alpacas, etc. Alpacas are from a cold, dry, windy place at high altitude. Wonder how different say Peruvian alpaca hair is from those in wetter, cold places. And what about the ones they raise in Texas where it's not that cold anymore... Anyway... just thinking outloud. :)
I want alpacas. Do you think they can live in the house? I'd put them in the yard, but it would be hard to get the hair out of the pool.
Thanks for the comment on Sparkly. The problem with public wearing is that, with the open lacing down the front, I can't wear a bra, and without it, the slightest shift could result in showing more than I really want to through the eyelets! Maybe a camisole underneath would do the trick.
Jen- the alpacas are local- the earlier picture of Hermione scored me an invite to visit the farm this summer. They have 10 alpacas and a mama getting ready to have a baby in August. I'll try to remember to ask about the climate changes if I don't become mesmerized looking int their eyes.
Yarnhog- they make those "cover the nip" things- in a younger skinnier time I could get away with bandaids. Yea, maybe a camisole is the way to go. It's still an awesome FO
