Some bunny better fix the hole

Just a few weeks ago GHB and I were sitting on the back porch and he said, "we should replace that hole in the screen door. It looks bad if we have someone over."

I said, "it's no big deal, we can fix it if we have company."

We didn't have company but Annabelle did. She brought Bunny No. 2 in as a present to us. (I wasn't gong to tell you but now I must-Bunny No. 1 met it's fate a day ago after it's escape. She brought him to the porch the next morning.)

Either we have to fix the screen door or Mama Bunny needs to fix the bunny hole.

Priceless was GHB's reaction so that he could get a hands-on sense of bunny in the house.

Oh dear! Our dog destroyed a whole nest of baby rabbits. I felt very badly for the mother but our garden isn't a great place to raise young'uns.

What does GHB stand for?

Oh, poor bunny! It's like watching the lion take down the baby wildebeast on Animal Planet. We have a heavy-duty pet screen, covered by a steel pet grate. So of course, the dog learned to open the screen door. I just wish she'd learn to close it behind her.

Oh dear! That picture is wonderful though, the cat looks so uninterested. And the bunny looked like it could have been so cute! This made me laugh evily.

I have a dog that persists in bringing me "presents" (usually mice) as well. It is hard to scold them when they are going what nature and instinct dictate.

Man, I wish my pets would do something about the mice family that lives in the wall! What kind of cat just looks at them?

By accident, mom ran over a baby bunny with her lawnmower. It's been a sad summer for baby bunnies.

Maybe you could make a real classy fur jacket out of all those bunnies. The fashions of the 80s are coming back I hear. That is some wiley hunter you've got there. I'd fix that hole or you might come home to a pile of dead rabbits in your living room.

That's very, very 'bunny'!!!! I think she is looking for a playmate and gets carried away. Time to get a new kitty to keep her busy. A kitten with all it's energy would keep dear Annabelle on her toes!! You could name the new one couchie instead of sophie. OOOH That wasn't 'bunny' at all.

I think I may be the only knit blogger without a cat, but I used to have a cat does that count? A very good hunting cat she was too and loved to bring us little gifts. But she was much less generous than your cat as she only brought us parts... which she would leave strategically on a doorstep where we'd be sure not to miss it. Especially if I had bare feet.

Thanks for visiting my blog and for the compliment on my Meida socks. I'm glad to find yours.
