The new student teacher paid a visit today. She starts on the 28th. After seeing a handmade crocheted scarf I said, "oh yeah, I knit." She said "Me Too! I have every size needle there is. My grandma taught me when I was 7! My fiance's mother made my scarf as a present"
I have yet to reveal the vastness of my addiction- but I'm pretty sure the squeal of glee gave a little bit of it away.

THat's great! I found out today that one of my managers has a 10 year old daughter that knits! I was so excited (he looked at me like I was crazy).
I LOVE finding other knitters!!
I fantasize about meeting knitters in real life. But since I work at home, it's not likely, unless I teach my husband to knit.
That's awesome! I have slowly been gathering all fiber-minded people at my school to me. I have five teachers who have come to my after school knit/crochet groups and another three or four who said that they want to. Just Friday I had another woman ask me to help her decipher her crochet pattern. Yay for fiber movements!
You don't have to reveal the vastness of your addiction becuase the new student teacher already knows. In secret knitter language the phrase me too translates into "I have more yarn than I could knit in 5 lifetimes and I know you do too."
