a change in course

Remember all those hard projects I've got going on? No? That's o.k. I'm tired of knitting hard things. Right now my favorite thing to work on is my Brooklyn Tweed Noro scarf and my eezy peezy socks. I might even frog Salt Peanuts and try something easier. There's no rule that says you have to knit the next hardest thing. If there is, I'm breaking it for a while.

Nope. No rule. In fact, I think it's a good idea to ease up a bit every once in a while.

Absolutely! But don't frog Peanuts for a little while because you just may get into one of those challenging moods again. And it will be there waiting for you.

No rules. My favorite knitting is plain stockinette. There. I've said it and I'm not ashamed!

Knitting is theoretically supposed to be fun, so if you are not having fun you are not doing it right. Appears to me you figured this out all by yourself because you are one smart cookie.

Sometimes easy is wonderful.
