wave goes up?
There's a kid in kindergarten who I'm supposed to call "Pony."
ETA birth certificate middle name IS Pony. You'll understand that I've forgotten the first name. I was busy trying to call him Pony.
Oh no. It must be the time of year; there have been a lot of posts about stupid names and annoying spellings (two of my pet peeves). My kids go to a culturally diverse school, so I try to overlook the name issue (I know kids named "Rash" and "Vulva", and well as "Marneisha" and "Q'Vonte", who is a boy), but it's hard.
aaahhh mother must be a fan of The Outsiders, you know "Pony Boy" hee hee hee, sorry that was the first thing that came to my mind. Didn't you have one last year with a strange name he wanted to be called?
Yarnhog, stupid names and annoying spellings are my pet peeves also. I mean who wants to go through their lives constantly having to correct it or explain it.
I feel bad for people who's parents gave them silly/annoying/ridiculous names. They have to go through the rest of their lives saying "no, that is my name" "No. Really" etc

OMG. Pony. Awesome. That totally beats the girls I've met with Tolkein names. Arwen and Eowyn. Heh.
