Pgh Knit and Crochet

Yea, I couldn't resist. I can't believe I paid $15 for the privilege of buying yarn. What a dolt. But Mr. Sophanne felt lucky and wanted to go to the casino so there I went.

These events are just too much for me- completely overwhelming. I tried out the idea of not planning on purchasing anything (knowing that something might find its way into my hands.) It still was too much for my brain to process.

I got some aussie wool with a Felted Citrus Tea Cozy Pattern Please realize that I don't have teapots and have no need to make them cozy. In fact, I didn't realize that's what it was supposed to be when I saw the knitted sample. I thought it was a purse that needed closure and an i-cord. Then the Aussie Yarn salesman put it on his head and I was a goner. Sometimes I laugh like the Penguin on the old Batman series. It really couldn't be helped. I've never bought orange yarn before and it looks like an easy knit. I don't want to steal anyone's picture of it so do click on the link and pretend it's a hat.

I also got some blocking wires for that lace I haven't knitted yet. One step closer.

I refrained from cashmere, jojoland melody, more alpaca, and several other blocked out of my mind items.
