Day Four Spring Break
Rain.
This is what I'll play with today.
The only other thought I have to contribute is that as I ate a hard-boiled egg this week I wondered what would happen if a person tried to fry a hard boiled egg. I didn't try it.
I have thought and pondered on the hard boiled egg issue and my best guess is.....crispy on the outside, mealy on the inside. What if it were breaded and deep fried?
Wow, a light bulb just went off! Could you somehow dredge the hard boiled egg (sliced of course) in corn meal or flour and then fry? Garnish with a dollop of goat cheese? I suggest you get crack-a-lacking, Ms. Spring Break.
My guess would be, you'd have fried hardboiled egg. I'm glad you're pondering the existential questions of our time during your time off. Somebody has to do it:)
The way your brain thinks is just a tinsy, tiny bit scary. I love the comments. I loved hard boiled eggs as is, as deviled eggs, or cut up in salad. I have no desire, nor ever thought, about frying one up. Twice baked potatoes=yum. Twice cooked eggs=bluck. My spring break hasn't been quite as thought provoking as yours.
LOVE that pillow! I just don't "get" colorwork. Ya know. They yarn carrying, dropping & using a new color, or whatever. I'm going to need lessons.

Them's gonna be some high-falutin' cooshins! ;)
Spring Break is very very good to you!!! Shall I run a contest for the hard boiled egg thing?

For a fried hard boiled egg, check out Scotch eggs:

Never tried them but they look interesting.
It isn't raining here (yet). I'm looking forward to some quality wool time this weekend.

It just rolls around the pan. I have curious children.
Fry it with or without the shell? Very important difference between the two I would think. That is going to be 1 gorgeous pillow!
I don't believe you can improve on the perfection that is the hard boiled egg.
Pretty yarn!!
Fried hard boiled egg=rubber. Personal opinion, though.....

I hope you are having a ball on spring break and continue to ponder the deep questions of the universe...
Just because you think it, doesn't mean you make it.
