because not everyone here really cares- OR-
Where but in the knitting of an intermediate novice(see side bar)can you find such great hope in the next finished object?
The yarn is tangly enough to require a "do-over" I can't face frogging and untangling. Easier just to start over. I was knitting kind of tight anyway. So it goes.
great post. sorry to see what happened to your knitting though. sounds like you've had a nice spring break. let me know what you think of Wicked. i really enjoyed it.
As the Yarn Harlot would say about gauge swatching or do-overs, "You *like* knitting", so it's ok. Then again, my WIP hasn't just been fouled up by a dog.

Oh such a study in contrasts!
You do know that you have another year or two of this don't you? She'll figure out the yarn isn't hers eventually.
I guess the dog has many talents but knitting isn't one of them.
That's a bad, bad dog.
Cute, but bad.
Yikes.
Ooh! that last one was a bit shocking after all the cuteness....
OOoooooh, noooooo!
Oh, bad dog! And stranded knitting, too!

OOPSIE dog...
Great pics though!
Did Eliza really do that or are you doing the knitting equivalent of blaming the dog for your own fart?
Oh, oops. (Suppressed snort of laughter, sorry!)
Uh oh. Then again, if you were knitting too tight, Eliza knew you needed to do it all again. She just "convinced" you of the need.
:)
