It is 9 outside. There is snow all about. My foggy brain is in cold weather hibernation. The phone rings at 7:10 a.m. The automated voice speaking for the superintendent of schools tells me that schools are closed today. The fog relaxes and spreads knowing that it has permission to stay the rest of the day. There might be an FO in my future.

Awesome! We just got a delay today. Enjoy!
I am envious. We had no delay yesterday or today, although that doesn't translate to either a delay or a closing for me. Harumph.
63 days and counting.
I am so glad that I am in Florida! We had a cold warning too! It got to 40 degrees this morning!!
Happy snow day! (It was nearly 80 here yesterday. No days off for that, I'm afraid.)
Lucky! It was 18 degrees this morning. I wore the snow-mobile suit today and look like a total dork, but I'm warm!
I see snoozing in your future...
It's like winning the knitting lottery!
Where was my phone call??
You mean stay at home moms don't get snow days?
Crap.
;)
It was coolish here & I don't think I'll ever see a snow day again in my life. Lucky you. I have to wait for a "hurricane" day...not quite the same.
I am jealous. I had to go out in -20C weather to go to work today....brrr.
Ahhh the good ol' snow days off from school! Seems like forever..long long ago. Hope you had a rockin' day with your knitting.
I can't imagine 9 below. If it were that cold here in San Diego we would freeze inside our houses even with the furnace going and a fire.
Hope you have a BIG warm sweater, and that it heats up soon.
DUDE! How the heck did I go all this time and NOT realize you had a blog? GAH!
ANyway...you're in my bloglines now. HA! I won't miss anything. Bring on the FO's :o)
And try to stay warm!!!
Yeah...it was in the mid 70's yesterday and is projected to be the same today. On the other hand, I have lemon and lime trees in my yard and year-round gardening possibilities.
Snow days! Yaaaay! I'd be jealous, but you totally deserve it.
How about the automated voice telling all the parents our school was on heightened alert because of a threat. We got a billion phone calls.
